Welcome PARENTS

E-Tahkanawasot Care Centre is open from 8:30 am to 4:30 pm Monday through Friday, September to June. The care centre follows the Oskayak High School calendar. If there are no classes there is no daycare. Exception may be made for community spaces at the discretion of the director. We are closed through the Christmas Holidays, Winter Break, Easter Holidays and all Statutory holidays. If spaces allow there may be child care spots for community children and their parents would be provided with a school calendar at registration which outlines days of closure.  

We encourage the children to dress for play and comfort as the seasons change. We spend time outside each day, weather permitting so the children will need mitts, hat or ski pants as weather requires.  Our program is based on play and exploration so your child will get dirty in learning, we recommend packing a spare set of clothing in case of accidents or spills while learning.
